Covario’s Business Development team is looking for a senior-level sales professional, based on the east coast, with an extensive background in digital marketing, a proven track record of achieving and exceeding quota, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to seek new business opportunities.



  • Identify new business opportunities for Covario’s search agency services
  • Own the business development process from lead to deal closure
  • Own the sales process – coordination of internal resources, facilitate meetings, development of presentation materials, development of proposals, define strategy to bring deal to closure
  • Own meeting process – define roles, delegate responsibilities, define agenda, control meeting
  • Ability to articulate client decisions and signature process
  • Build pipeline and accurately forecast new business
  • Ability to travel throughout US


Required Skills & Experience

  • 7-10+ years business development experience
  • Understanding of search marketing and the internet
  • Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams in a strategic and professional manner
  • Experience working as a virtual employee
  • Ability to ask questions, listen, and follow-up
  • Professional demeanor and desire to win in a very competitive industry
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com ‘s CRM tool
  • B.S or B.A. degree required
